Beer
Light Beers- Popular for several reasons some of which include being inexpensive
and general lack of taste. Also, some people believe that by drinking 15 light beers
instead of 15 regular beers somehow it's alot more healthy.
Popular Light Beers
- Bud Light
- Busch Light
- Coors Light
- Keystone Light
- Natural Light
- Miller Light
40's- 40's are cheaper and contain more alcohol than regular beer. 40's are
popular among thugs, street dwellars, gutter snipe and poor college students. *Note*
if you are drinking a 40 outside you must pour out a little liquor for your fallen
homey's (even if you don't have any). Also, bonus points to anyone who drinks a 40
still in the brown paper bag it came in.
Popular 40's
- St. Ides
- Colt 45
- Private Stock
- King Kobra
- Crazyhorse
- Budweiser (Not a "real" 40, but Marasca likes it)
Things Carnes Drinks- You may have heard of these, you might have even
tried one or two of them. However, unless you are 40 years of age or Brian Carnes
you don't drink these on a regular basis. I'll let you figure out why on your own.
Things Carnes Drinks
- Red Hook
- Amstel Light
- Old Speckled Hen
- Bulmer's Woodpecker Cider
- George Killian's Irish Red
- Bartles & James
Other Notables- While most people don't drink these all the time almost
everyone has tried them. If you have ever been to Cancun you can't escape Corona &
Dos Equis, likewise Canada breeds Molson products. And if you're just in the mood for
something tasty go ahead and try the others.
Other Notables
- Corona
- Mikes Hard Lemonade
- Dos Equis
- Molson
- Labatts Blue
- Zima
Popular Ways to Finish Beers
- Sipping- A good technique used in both laid back situations and party environments.
Depending on ones tolerance much sipping may be required to get drunk.
- Chugging- A fast and effective way to get yourself drunk. *Caution*
may cause spillage, and excessive chugging may result in blackouts. This technique
is a staple of many drinking games and in situations where people are trying to prove
their toughness.
- Funnel or Shotgun- By far the most effective way to finish a beer quickly
and get yourself into a drunken stupor. These techniques however do require some
materials. To funnel preferably one must have a funnel and tubing, I once heard of a
kid funnelling beers out of a roadside cone, but I wouldn't recommend it. To shotgun,
you'll need a knife, key or anything sharp to cut the can. *Note* too much of this
in one night will cause blackouts and most likely give you a nice hangover.
- Spill on yourself or floor- This usually occurs once a person has practiced
too much of the above listed techniques. I do not recommend this as a way to finish a
beer. You ruin your clothes, make an ass out of yourself and generally piss people off
when you spill on their floor. Party foul.
- Don't Finish (aka "The Floater")- This seems to be popular among people
at our school, or at least the ones that visit our room on the weekend. Sorry to say
this, but the culprit is usually girls who don't like the last sip of a beer (somehow
it tastes different). The worst type of floater happens when a drunkard feels the
need to fire a non-finished beer under our couch for us to find at a later date.
This may be construed as a major party foul.
Wine / Champagne
If you are a guy and are drinking either of these then you're doing it to
either impress a woman, because a woman wants you to or you may be gay....take your pick. Women
it is perfectly fine for you to drink either wine or champagne. Brian Carnes believes
"Drinking a bottle of wine before you start drinking beer gives you a great buzz", but
then again he was passed out an hour after saying this. And can you really believe anyone
that thinks Gheorghe Muresan is the same person as Giant
Gonzalez...I didn't think so.
